Canvas pages, without API tokens

Capture the lesson or assignment you already have open in Canvas, review the text, and turn it into a study deck.

1. Capture a page

On a desktop browser, drag this link to your bookmarks bar. Open a course page or assignment in Canvas, then click the saved bookmark.

Install the bookmark manually

Create a bookmark named “PrepDeck: capture page” and paste this code into its URL field.

No Canvas API calls, account tokens, or automatic uploads. Captures one page at a time; it does not download linked files, read embedded tools, or transcribe videos.

If your school or browser blocks bookmarks: select and copy the lesson text directly from Canvas, then paste below. This also works on mobile.

2. Review your study material

Paste the captured text here. You can combine several pages, remove anything you don’t want included, and edit it before continuing.

0 / 200,000 characters. Your draft is saved only in this tab. Material is uploaded when you generate a deck. Only include materials you’re allowed to use.

Downloaded a .txt file instead? Upload it directly.
